Lin Ai Wei

  

 Lin Ai Wei, given name Erik Oliva, began his training at 8yrs of age in Chan meditation, as well as various Daoist Qigong practices in his teens. For the past 20yrs he has been taught by various Daoist and Buddhist teachers. He is known by several names, such as “Lin De Ming, Lin Zi Yi, Lin Zi Quan” and “Yun Xing”.

 

 His training consisted of sitting and lying meditation, walking and standing meditation, Pure Land Buddhist Cultivation, Buddha Name Recitation, Chan, Buddhist Sutra Studies and Daoist cultivation practices such as Yi Jin Jing, Shen Gong (Not spirit possession based practices), various methods of Zhan Zhuang (Pile Standing practices), Taiji Quan and Wu Dang Sword. 

 He is a Lay Disciple of Xuan Hua Shangren, through Master Hua's teachings, for Lin holds Master Hua's teachings very close. Lin is also Lay Disciple under Liu Shifu of Wang Mu Chi Daoist Nunnery of the HuaShan Sect of Quan Zhen Daoism (Complete Reality Sect of Daoism) located in Taian City Shandong China, at the foot of Tai Mountain (Tai Shan) in Hu Shan Gong Yuan (Tiger Mountain Park).

 He began treating patients at age 13 with transference of energy as part of his Daoist Qigong training called Fagong. In 1999, Lin began learning Wing Chun from Master Alan Goldberg, and in 2004 became Master Goldberg's disciple.

  

 In 2001, Lin began his Taiji Quan studies under Master Rudy Curry Jr. With Master Rudy, Lin learned 37 Form Taiji Quan, various Standing practices, Daoist Yijin Jing and Yiquan Internal Exercises. 

  

 Lin is founder of Jing Xin Yuan, a Lay Buddhist Cultivation School where he also teaches Chinese Martial Arts such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, Zheng Man Qing Taiji Quan and Wushu for children. He founded Jing Xin Yuan while living in Shandong Province, Taian city China PRC in 2006, and moved back to Bensonhurst Brooklyn in the summer of 2008 to establish Jing Xin Yuan in America.Jing Xin Yuan also has a Clinic of Chinese Medicine led by Miguel Maya, Lic. Ac., a student of Jing Xin Yuan's Ming De Tang.


 Between the years 2003 and 2005, Lin wrote a manuscript on cultivation called “Shen Yi Zhi Dao”, “The Way of Spiritual Intention”. It is comprised of 3 chapters with each chapter consisting of over 40 sub-chapter-like paragraphs covering everything from energetic cultivation to mental, emotional and societal problems as well as solutions to these conditions.
